Commercial electrical works have to be compliant, delivered to programme and controlled against budget.
We guarantee our works for 12 months from completion, covering parts and labour. Terms and conditions apply.
We don’t offer electrical services that we are not qualified to carry out.
Remember, our ONE STOP SHOP! We can also provide Building Contracting where your electrical project needs associated building work. For projects requiring fire or security systems, we work alongside our specialist Fire & Security division
Thank you for ensuring the wiring has been put in very discretely and so the electrical works looks as if it was part of the original building works.
Thank you very much indeed.
Re-wire and fit new street lighting including excavation for laying wiring underground and fitting new lighting columns to pavements and car park areas – I have just returned from a site visit at the above site. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned. I am very happy with the finished result.
Top FAQs about school and commercial electrical work
How often does a school need an electrical condition report?
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require electrical systems to be maintained so as to prevent danger, but they do not set a fixed inspection interval. The frequency should reflect the condition, age and use of the installation and the risks within the premises. Higher-risk areas may need more frequent inspection. Complete the form to book an appointment.
What is the difference between an EICR and PAT testing?
An EICR covers the fixed electrical installation – including wiring, distribution boards, circuits, sockets and lighting. PAT testing relates to portable electrical appliances. They are separate types of electrical safety inspection, and the testing required will depend on the equipment and risks within the premises. Complete the form to get a competitive quote.
Can you work outside school hours?
Yes, subject to the requirements of the project. Electrical inspection, testing and installation work can require access to rooms and periods of power isolation, so work can be planned around the needs of the school to minimise disruption. Complete the form to discuss timings.
Can you upgrade our main intake, distribution boards and fuse boards?
Yes, subject to survey. The existing supply, installation and proposed load need to be assessed first. Where changes to the incoming supply are required, the project may also need coordination with the distribution network operator. Complete the form to book a survey.
Can we get additional electrical supplies for machinery?
Yes, subject to survey. New machinery loads need assessing against the existing installation before anything is specified, which is what the survey establishes. Complete the form to book an appointment.
Can our lighting be upgraded to LED?
Yes, subject to survey. We carry out LED replacement across offices, classrooms, sports halls, tennis courts, car parks and retail parks. Complete the form to get a quote.
Do you do data cabling?
Yes, subject to survey. Complete the form to book an appointment.
